Describing his early days, Agarwal recalled staying near the Cotton Exchange in Kalbadevi, where his first business partner had a small office. He described life as simple, but his aspirations were grand. Despite having limited funds, Agarwal worked tirelessly and, over time, built enough resources to buy his first home.
In his post, he highlighted how others advised him to buy property in the suburbs for its practicality and affordability. However, Agarwal’s vision was different—he dreamt of living among the city’s elite. “Malabar Hill, close to Peddar Road, was where I envisioned myself, as I had faith that I would achieve great success one day,” he shared.
Agarwal’s first property was a modest 330 sq ft flat in Navranga Apartment, located in the heart of Mumbai. He described this purchase as his greatest accomplishment at the time, symbolizing his belief that he was on the right path to success.
Reflecting on the importance of self-belief and dreaming big, Agarwal encouraged his followers with the words, “Dream it. Believe it. And one day, you will live it.”
Social media users were quick to react, praising the business tycoon’s story. One user commented, “Yes sir, exactly. Dream big, dream different always,” while another added, “Fantastic and inspiring, thanks Anil ji for sharing!” A third user said, “Wonderful. Motivational stuff. Thanks for sharing such personal thoughts.” Others even suggested his journey could make for a great book or movie.
In addition to his inspiring tale, Agarwal recently made headlines for acquiring the historic 100-year-old Riverside Studios in London. The property, located on the northern banks of the River Thames, will serve as a premier global venue for showcasing Indian and global arts and culture. Agarwal expressed his passion for art in a statement, stating, “I have always believed that art has the power to transcend boundaries, unite people, and elevate human experience.”
