Asia Cup 2025 Schedule: Team India to Face UAE in First Match, India vs Pakistan Clash on September 14

Mumbai, September 8, 2025: After a month-long break, Team India is all set to return to action in the Asia Cup 2025, starting Tuesday, September 9. The opening match of the tournament will be played between Afghanistan and Hong Kong, while India will begin their campaign on September 10 against the UAE. The grand finale is scheduled for September 28.

This year’s Asia Cup will feature 19 matches, all to be played across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. A total of eight teams are participating, divided into two groups:

• Group A: India, Pakistan, UAE, Oman
• Group B: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Hong Kong

India will face UAE on September 10, Pakistan on September 14, and Oman on September 19 in the group stage. Winning at least two out of these three matches will secure India’s spot in the Super-4 stage. If India and Pakistan qualify, fans could witness another high-voltage clash in the Super-4 before the finals.

The Super-4 stage will be played from September 20 to September 26, with the top two teams advancing to the final on September 28.
