The Atal Setu, also known as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), which was constructed at an estimated cost of ₹17,840 crore, had been inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 12th January (Friday).

The six-lane, 21.8-kilometer bridge spans 16.5 kilometers over the sea and 5.5 kilometers on land. Additionally, it will shorten the time it takes to get from Mumbai to Pune, Goa, and South India.

A list has been published by the Mumbai Traffic Police regarding which type of vehicles won’t be allowed to ply on Atal Setu.

As per further information from the X handle of Mumbai Traffic Police “Entry of the following vehicles: Motor Cycle, Moped, 3 Wheeler Tempo, Auto Rickshaw, Tractor, Tractor with unladen trolley, Animal Drawn Vehicles & Slow Moving Vehicle will not be allowed on MTHL.”
