The Indian Army is set to host the prestigious Army Day Parade (ADP) in Pune on January 9 and January 15, 2025, at the Bombay Engineering Group and Centre (BEG and C) in Khadki. This historic celebration promises to showcase the strength, tradition, and technological advancements of the Indian Armed Forces.
Pune, known for its rich military history, is a hub of India’s defence landscape. It is home to the Southern Command headquarters, as well as premier institutions like the National Defence Academy (NDA) and the College of Military Engineering (CME). This makes Pune the perfect venue to host the Army Day Parade.
For the first time, the Indian Army has introduced a digital system for booking seats, making it easier for citizens to participate in this historic celebration. Interested attendees can register via the ADP 25 app, available on both Android and iOS platforms. Registration requires an Aadhaar-linked mobile number and a face scan through the app for verification.
This year’s parade promises to be a grand affair with marching contingents representing various regiments of the Indian Army, mechanized columns featuring tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery, technological exhibits displaying cutting-edge defence technologies, including drones and robotics, and demonstrations of martial arts displays, combat techniques, and other thrilling performances.
Ahead of the parade, Pune is also hosting the “Know Your Army” exhibition at the Race Course on Solapur Road. The exhibition is open to the public from 9 am to 5 pm till January 5th without any registration.
