Passengers are advised that certain train services will be affected due to maintenance work on Tunnel Bridge situated between Sai P Nilayam and Basampalle Stations in the Bangalore Division of the South Western Railway.

The rehabilitation work includes activities such as traffic and power blocks, rock bolting, drainage netting, and grouting. This project is scheduled to take place from December 8, 2023, to February 8, 2024, spanning a total of 63 days.

As a result, several trains will operate on diverted routes during this period. Here are the details:

Balwadkar
  1. Train No. 11302 Bengaluru – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Udyan Express departing from Bangalore until February 8, 2024, will follow an altered route via Penukonda – Nagasamudram – Dharmavaram, bypassing Sai P Nilayam station.
  2. Train No. 16332 Thiruvananthapuram – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Express, departing every Saturday between December 23, 2023, and February 3, 2024, will take a changed route via Tirupati – Jolarpette – Reniguntha – Guntakal, skipping Bangarpet, Krishnarajapuram, Hindupur, Dharmavaram, and Anantapur stations.
  3. Train No. 11014 Coimbatore – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express, until February 8, 2024, will run on an altered route via Salem – Jolarpet – Reniguntha – Guntakal, excluding Anantapur station from its stops.
  4. On February 7, 2024, Train No. 11301 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Bengaluru Udyan Express will be diverted via Dharmavaram – Nagasamudram – Penukonda, and Sai P Nilayam Station will not be served.
  5. Every Sunday from December 17, 2023, to February 4, 2024, Train No. 16331 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Thiruvananthapuram Express will be rerouted via Jolarpet – Tirupati, omitting stops at Hindupur, Krishnarajapuram, and Bangarpet stations.
  6. Until February 7, 2024, Train No. 11013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Coimbatore Express will operate on a modified route via Guntakal – Reniguntha – Jolarpet – Salem, excluding stops at Hosur and Dharmapuri stations.
  7. On Sundays of December 24, 31, 2023, and January 7, 14, 21, 28, 2024, Train No. 16534 Bengaluru – Jodhpur Express will be diverted via Yeswantpur – Arsikere – Hubli, skipping Guntakal, Bellary, Hospet, Koppal, and Gadag stations.
  8. On Fridays of December 22, 29, 2023, and January 5, 12, 19, 26, 2024, Train No. 16532 Bengaluru – Ajmer Express will take an altered route via Yashwantpur – Arsikere – Hubli, bypassing Bellary, Hospet, Koppal, and Gadag stations.
  9. On Fridays of December 22, 29, 2023, and January 5, 12, 19, 26, 2024, Train No. 16614 Coimbatore – Rajkot Express will be rerouted via Salem – Tirupati – Jolarpet – Reniguntha – Guntakal, excluding Hindupur, Dharmavaram, Anantapur, and Gutti stations.
  10. Every Sunday from December 17, 2023, to February 4, 2024, Train No. 19567 Tuticorin – Okha Express will run via Salem – Jolarpettai – Reniguntha – Guntakal, omitting stops at Yelahanka, Hindupur, Dharmavaram, and Anantapur stations.
  11. On Mondays of December 18, 25, 2023, and January 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, 2024, Train No. 16531 Ajmer – Bangalore Express will take a changed route via Hubli – Arsikere – Yesvantpur, excluding stops at Bellary, Guntakal, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, and Hindupur stations.
  12. On Wednesdays of December 20, 27, 2023, and January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, 2024, Train No. 16533 Jodhpur – Bengaluru Express will run via Hubli – Arsikere – Yaswanpur, omitting stops at Bellary, Guntakal, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, and Hindupur stations.
  13. Every Sunday from December 17, 24, 31, 2023, and January 7, 14, 21, 28, 2024, Train No. 16613 Rajkot – Coimbatore Express will be rerouted via Guntakal – Reniguntha – Jolarpette – Tirupati – Salem, excluding stops at Gutti, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, Krishnarajapuram, and Bangarpet stations.
  14. On Fridays of December 22, 29, 2023, and January 5, 12, 19, 26, 2024, Train No. 19568 Okha – Tirunelveli Express will take a changed route via Guntakal – Reniguntha – Jolarpet – Salem, omitting stops at Yelahanka, Krishnarajapuram, and Bangarpet stations.

Passengers are requested to take note of these changes and plan their journeys accordingly.
