After the video surfaced, MNS leader Sandesh Desai addressed the Kurla accident in another video, drawing parallels with the recent incident. Desai questioned the authorities about what actions they would take against such irresponsible conduct.
The authorities are looking into the Kurla incident thoroughly, exploring potential causes such as brake failure or human error. The driver of the bus involved, Sanjay More, has been arrested and charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder. More appeared in court on Tuesday and has been remanded to police custody until December 21 for further investigations.
These events have raised concerns about the safety and accountability measures in Mumbai’s public transport systems, highlighting the urgent need for stricter oversight to prevent future tragedies.
