Pune: A shocking case of black magic has emerged in Pune, a city known as the cultural capital of India. The incident took place outside the residence of Datta Dhankawade, a close associate of Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) leader and former mayor of Pune.

On March 29, various items associated with black magic—such as coconuts, curd rice, boiled eggs, lemons, and black powder—were found placed outside Dhankawade’s bungalow in the Dhankawadi area. The accused has been identified as Dhanka Kakasaheb Chavan.

Four Months of Occult Practices

Reports suggest that the accused had been performing occult rituals for the past four months on new moon nights at different locations in the Dhankawadi area. She would leave black magic-related items like coconuts, curd rice, boiled eggs, and black powder outside various residences.
