A BMTC bus driver in Bengaluru passed away after experiencing a heart attack while driving the bus on Wednesday. The sad event occurred around 11 am when Kiran Kumar, aged 40, was operating the bus on its final journey from Nelamangala to the Dasanapura area, according to officials.

Surveillance video of the incident captures the driver initially leaning forward and then collapsing on his left side due to the heart attack. Losing control of the bus, it grazed against another BMTC bus.

The bus conductor, Obalesh, promptly leaped into the driver’s seat to steer the bus and brought it to a stop, ensuring the safety of all passengers onboard.
