CA Exams May 2025 Postponed Again Amid India-Pakistan Tensions: Check Revised Dates, Details Here
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has once again postponed the CA Final, Intermediate, and International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT-AT) exams scheduled between May 9 and May 14, 2025. The decision comes in light of rising tensions between India and Pakistan.
According to the revised timetable, the deferred exams will now be held from May 16 to May 24, 2025. However, exam centres and timings remain unchanged, with papers scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, depending on the subject. Previously issued admit cards will remain valid for the new dates.
CA Final & INTT-AT Revised Dates
- Final (Group II) Paper 5 – Indirect Tax Laws & INTT-AT Paper 1 – Transfer Pricing: Rescheduled from May 10 to May 16
- Final Paper 6 – Integrated Business Solutions & INTT-AT Paper 2 – International Tax – Practice: Shifted from May 13 to May 18
CA Intermediate (Group II) New Schedule
- Paper 4 – Cost and Management Accounting: Moved from May 9 to May 20
- Paper 5 – Auditing and Ethics: Rescheduled from May 11 to May 22
- Paper 6 – Financial Management & Strategic Management: Postponed from May 14 to May 24
The CA Foundation exams will proceed as originally scheduled on May 15, 17, 19, and 21, ICAI confirmed.
In its official statement, ICAI clarified: “There would be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination scheduled being declared a public or local holiday.”
