Captured on Camera, Bengaluru Road Rage: Child Injured as Family Faces Frightening Attack
A family in Bengaluru was left shaken after a terrifying road rage incident injured their five-year-old son.
On Tuesday night, two unidentified men on a motorcycle pursued Anoop’s car and demanded he lower his window. When he refused, the attackers shattered the window with a stone, injuring the child who was seated in the backseat. Video footage from inside the car captured Anoop’s distress as he shouted, “My child was there!”
The child suffered a severe head injury, requiring three stitches and 24-hour observation due to significant blood loss. Broken glass and bloodstains were visible on the car’s backseat in later footage. Anoop recounted that the assailants followed their car and attacked just two kilometers from their home.
“My son, sitting in the back, was deeply hurt and traumatized,” Anoop shared. His wife added that despite being in a busy area, the attackers showed no hesitation. The family spent hours at the hospital, grappling with the mental and physical toll of the attack.
They have filed a complaint at the Parappana Agrahara police station, urging authorities to identify the attackers and improve road safety in the area.
