To appear for the November 26th exams of CAT 2023, students are required to obtain their admit card from the official website. This card is mandatory for gaining entry to the exam center.

Along with the admit card, students must also carry a valid photo ID proof, which can be any government-issued document featuring their photograph and signature, such as Aadhar card, Electoral ID, Driving License, PAN card, or Passport.

For students who require assistance during the exam, it is necessary to carry supporting documents, including the affidavit and medical certificate, to validate their need for aid.

Furthermore, students must ensure they have all the essential paperwork, including any additional documents needed for name modifications or any other prerequisites specified for the CAT 2023 examination day. It is also crucial to adhere to the CAT 2023 Dress Code.

CAT exam hall has a list of prohibited items that students must avoid bringing in addition to the permitted items. These barred items include mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, electronic gadgets, calculators, wristwatches, and pouches containing stationery items. It is important for students to adhere to these restrictions.

Additionally, jewellery is strictly prohibited during the CAT exam. Female candidates are specifically advised to avoid wearing any fancy accessories such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings, or rings. It is mandatory for those who are wearing such items to remove them before entering the exam hall. Additionally, certain items like shoes with thick soles, caps, jackets, and clothing with large pockets or metal attachments are not allowed. Attire attached to caps or hoodies is also restricted. It is recommended for students to wear outfits that are not attention-grabbing and have minimal pockets to reduce the need for additional security checks.

To ensure a smooth examination process, it is mandatory for students with metal implants or pacemakers to possess the necessary medical certificates. These certificates serve as proof and help avoid any unnecessary scrutiny before the exam.
