Shocking incident in Virar West caught on CCTV; formal complaint filed at Bolinj Police Station
A delivery executive from the quick-commerce platform Blinkit has been booked for allegedly urinating inside the elevator of a residential building in Virar West, Mumbai. The disturbing incident took place at the CD Gurudev Building in Palghar district and was captured on the building’s CCTV camera.

According to the footage, the delivery agent entered the lift on Friday afternoon carrying a parcel in his left hand. In an apparent attempt to avoid being identified by the surveillance camera, he turned his back to the lens, unzipped his pants, and urinated on the front gate of the elevator.
The act came to light when residents noticed a foul smell and wet flooring inside the lift. Upon reviewing the CCTV recordings, they were shocked to see the delivery executive, wearing a Blinkit-branded jacket, committing the act.
Following the discovery, several residents approached the nearby Blinkit office to identify and confront the individual. During the confrontation, the delivery agent was allegedly assaulted before being handed over to the police.
A formal complaint has been filed at the Bolinj Police Station in Virar West. Police officials have confirmed receipt of the complaint and stated that an investigation is currently underway.
As of now, Blinkit has not released an official statement on the incident. However, the company is expected to initiate internal disciplinary action against the accused delivery partner.
