CBSE Board Exam 2025: Dates Announced for Class 10, 12 Board Exams; Key Details and Timetable

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the datesheet for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams scheduled for 2025.

Examination Dates and Timings

Class 10: February 15, 2025, to March 18, 2025

Class 12: February 15, 2025, to April 4, 2025

Both exams will be conducted in the morning shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Students can access the datesheet for Class 10 and 12 by following these steps:

1. Visit the official CBSE website: cbse.gov.in.
2. Look for the “CBSE Datesheet 2025 for Class 10, 12” link on the homepage.
3. Click the link to view the PDF of the datesheet.
4. Save the datesheet on your device for future reference.

Key Highlights of the Datesheet

This is the first time CBSE has issued the datesheet 86 days in advance, ensuring students have ample preparation time.

Balanced Schedule: According to CBSE Exam Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, sufficient gaps have been provided between exams to reduce stress. The datesheet was designed considering 40,000 subject combinations, ensuring no clashes for students who have opted for multiple subjects.

Student Participation

An estimated 44 lakh students from 8,000 schools in India and abroad are expected to appear for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2025.
