The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the admit card for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024, scheduled for January 21. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website at ctet.nic.in

The CTET is a nationwide examination that assesses candidates’ eligibility for teaching positions in Classes 1 to 8 at various Central Government Schools.

1. Admit Card Availability: CBSE has released the CTET Admit Card 2024 on its official website, enabling registered candidates to download the document. The admit card is a crucial document for candidates appearing in the CTET examination.

2. Examination Date and Shifts: The CTET 2024 examination is scheduled for January 21, 2024. It will be conducted in two shifts. The morning session (Shift 1) is set from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, while the afternoon session (Shift 2) is from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. This accommodates flexibility for applicants.

3. Duration of Exam: The CTET 2024 examination consists of two papers, each with a duration of 150 minutes. Paper 1 and Paper 2 assess candidates’ teaching eligibility, allowing sufficient time for candidates to showcase their knowledge and skills.

4. Admit Card Authentication: To download the admit card, candidates need to provide their application number and date of birth for authentication. It is essential for candidates to check the personal details mentioned on the admit card, including name, roll number, registration number, exam venue, exam time, and subject/discipline.

5. Reporting Time: Candidates are advised to arrive at the test center well in advance. For Paper II, they should report at 7:30 AM, and for Paper I, they should report at 12:00 PM—120 minutes before the commencement of the respective exams.
