CBSE Special Board Exams 2025: Revised Dates Announced, Check Full Schedule

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for special board examinations for Class 10 and 12 students who participated in national and international sports competitions during the main board exams for the academic session 2024-25.

CBSE Special Exam Dates 2025

According to the official notification issued on April 2, 2025, the CBSE Class 10 special exams will be conducted from April 7 to April 11, while the Class 12 special exam is scheduled for April 11, 2025. Students will have to appear at their previously assigned examination centers. Additionally, they must download fresh admit cards to participate in these exams.

Class 10 Special Exam Schedule:

• April 7, 2025 – English Language and Literature, Hindi Course ‘A’, French
• April 8, 2025 – Science
• April 9, 2025 – Social Science, Multi-Skill Foundation Course
• April 11, 2025 – Hindi Course ‘B’, Sanskrit

Class 12 Special Exam Schedule:

• April 11, 2025 – English Core, Chemistry, Physical Education, Hindi Elective, Hindi Core

CBSE Board Exam Timeline

The CBSE Class 10 board exams were held from February 15 to March 18, 2025. Meanwhile, the Class 12 board exams commenced on February 15 and will conclude on April 4, 2025. Following the completion of the Class 12 exams, CBSE will conduct the special exams for students who were exempted due to their participation in sports events.

CBSE has directed schools to inform all eligible students about the special exam dates. Students must ensure they download their fresh admit cards from the official CBSE website and report to their designated centers on the scheduled dates.
