A disturbing video has surfaced showing a man snatching a phone from a girl and dragging her along on his two-wheeler near Rose Garden in Ludhiana. The incident, which reportedly took place on Sunday, has sparked widespread outrage and concern for women’s safety.
According to eyewitnesses, the girl, who works at a garment shop, was returning home from work when she received a call. As soon as she answered, a man riding a white scooter snatched her phone. Showing remarkable bravery, the girl is seen catching hold of the snatcher’s arm, but he sped away, dragging her for about 30 meters.
A bystander can be seen running to save the girl, and a PCR vehicle arrives promptly on the scene, taking her to a hospital. The entire incident was captured on CCTV footage, which is being scanned by police officials to identify and arrest the suspect.
As per reports the girl has suffered injuries due to dragging. She is undergoing treatment in the nearby hospital. The police assured that they are working to identify the suspect. The girl’s identity has not been disclosed yet to protect her privacy.
