Central Railway Introduces Season Tickets Between Jeur and Pune on Trial Basis
Pune, July 31, 2025 — In a passenger-friendly move, Central Railway has announced the introduction of season ticket facilities for commuters travelling between Jeur and Pune. This initiative will be implemented on an experimental basis for a period of six months, starting from August 1, 2025, and continuing till January 31, 2026.
The decision aims to benefit regular travelers on this route, allowing them to save both time and money through the use of season tickets. The facility is expected to ease the daily commute for passengers, particularly those travelling for work or education.
Railway authorities have urged all eligible passengers to take note of the new provision and avail the season ticket facility during the trial period. The feedback and response during these six months will be considered before deciding on the permanent continuation of the service.
