Ahead of several upcoming & popular Indian festivals such as Dussehra, Diwali, Chhat etc, the Central Railways (CR) has planned to run 30 special trains.

As per further information from Central Railways, Central Railways will run 30 Dussehra/Diwali/Chhat Special Festival Trains to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details of the trains are as follows:

·         CSMT – Nagpur Biweekly Superfast Special (20 Trips)

Train no 02139 Superfast Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 00:20 am on Monday and Thursday from 19.10.2023 to 20.11.2023 and will arrive Nagpur at 15.30 pm same day.

Train no. 02140 Superfast Special will leave Nagpur at 13:30 pm on Tuesday and Saturday from 21.10.2023 to 21.11.2023 and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 4:10 am next day.

The halts are Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Manmad, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Murtizapur, Badnera Dhamangaon and Wardha.

Composition: 16 AC 3 Tier Economy Class and Two Generator Van

·         Nagpur – Pune Weekly Superfast Special (10 Trips)

Train no 02144 Superfast Special will leave Nagpur at 19:40 pm on every Thursday from 19.10.2023 to 16.11.2023 and will arrive in Pune at 11:25 am next day.

Train no 02143 Superfast Special will leave Pune at 16:10 pm on every Friday from 20.10.2023 to 17.11.2023 and will arrive in Nagpur at 6:30 am next day. 

The halts are Wardha, Dhamangaon, Badnera, Akola, Shegaon, Malkapur, Kopargaon, Belapur, Ahmednagar, Daund Chord Line and Urli.

Composition: 16 AC 3 Tier Economy Class and Two Generator Van

For reservations, bookings for above special trains on special charges will open on 14/10/2023 at all PRS locations and on website www.irctc.co.in.
