Pune: Many builders in Pimpri Chinchwad are violating regulations by doing illegal constructions. In response, the Chikhali-Moshi-Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation organized a meeting to address the concerns of society owners. 

The meeting was attended by federation president Sanjivan Sangale, legal advisor Ajit Borade, and representatives from 2,000 societies in the area.

 During the meeting, various issues faced by society owners in Pimpri Chinchwad were discussed, including harassment by builders and the pending work. 

Legal advisor Ajit Borade guided how to operate society in accordance with model bylaws. He also advised on the necessary precautions and documents required for transferring ownership from the society developer. 

Additionally, he provided detailed guidance on conveyance deeds and deemed conventions. Ganesh Waghmare explained the election process of the society to all members.

Ravindra Ambekar and Maruti Parit expressed their views during the meeting, which was hosted by Deepak Nikam. 

President Sanjivan Sangale presented a review of the federation’s work over the past eight years, including efforts to address pollution, assist societies in obtaining deemed conveyance deeds, resolve water problems, and provide guidance on model bylaws to over 500 societies. 

The federation also pressured builders to address open parking issues in many societies. The society owners agreed to raise their voices on the issue of illegal construction and to work with the federation to address their concerns.

During a recent event, President Sanjivan Sangale presented a comprehensive review of the work accomplished by the Chikhali-Moshi-Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation over the past eight years. 

The Federation has been actively involved in addressing various issues such as pollution, water scarcity, and open parking in numerous societies.

Additionally, the Federation has guided over 500 societies on how to operate in accordance with the model bylaws. Furthermore, the federation has organized several citizen interaction programmes to resolve problems faced by society owners. These programmes have also included discussions with the police administration to address legal issues.

 The Federation has also opposed campaigns to stop the supply of water to members of society who have not paid taxes. During the COVID pandemic, the federation assisted society members and organized vaccination camps in over 50,000 societies through the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. 

Sanjivan Sangale, President of Chikhali-Moshi Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation, added, ”Majority of the population in Pimpri Chinchwad city resides in societies, and therefore, the federation will continue to work towards bringing society owners together to address their issues and operate in accordance with the model bylaws. 

He further stated that all society owners must contribute to the development of the city and work together to put pressure on the administration to get things done.
