CM Relief Fund Provides ₹55 Crore Aid To 6,395 Patients In Pune Division In Seven Months
Mumbai | August 7, 2025:
The Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) has become a major support system for economically weaker and underprivileged patients in Maharashtra. In the last seven months, ₹54.91 crore in medical aid was disbursed to 6,395 patients in the Pune division alone, according to Rameshwar Naik, head of the CMRF and Charitable Hospital Aid Cell.
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the state has implemented a paperless, digital system and established district-level cells, eliminating the need for patients to travel to Mumbai. Patients are first encouraged to benefit from government schemes like Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, or charitable hospitals. If treatment isn’t covered under these, patients can apply to CMRF through empaneled hospitals.
