Concerns Rise Over Deteriorating Road Conditions In Pimpri Chinchwad

Amid ongoing issues with road conditions and traffic jams in Pune, residents of Pimpri Chinchwad are voicing their concerns about their own city’s road conditions. A recent survey on the #PCMCFirst Facebook group has highlighted the growing frustration among residents regarding potholes and traffic congestion.
The survey, which has already garnered responses from 300 participants, includes information and photos documenting the state of roads across various parts of Pimpri Chinchwad. Areas such as Nigdi and Bhakti Shakti have been specifically flagged for needing urgent attention due to the worsening pothole menace.

Amol Deshpande, Admin of the PCMC First group, stated, “The poll was initiated to gather more feedback from residents on road conditions. We want to ensure that areas with significant issues, like Nigdi and Bhakti Shakti, receive the necessary attention.” He added that the group has informed the Commissioner of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) about these concerns and requested prompt action.
Residents are encouraged to continue sharing their experiences and concerns to help improve road conditions and traffic management. The survey aims to ensure that local authorities address the issues effectively and in a timely manner.
