The Central Railway administration has announced the cancellation of several trains arriving at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal (CSMT) due to ongoing expansion work on platforms 10 and 11. This infrastructure upgrade aims to enhance the capacity and efficiency of the terminal but will result in significant disruption for commuters.
The expansion project, expected to last for an extended period, has necessitated the cancellation of several key train services, particularly those operating between Pune and Mumbai. Among the trains affected are the well-frequented Pragati Express and Deccan Express, which will cease operations temporarily.
As per the information, the specific trains which are cancelled are as follows:
Pune-Mumbai-Pune Pragati Express: Cancelled from 28th May to 2nd June.
Pune-Mumbai Intercity Express: Cancelled from 31st May to 2nd June.
Pune-Mumbai-Pune Deccan Express: Cancelled on 1st and 2nd June.
Pune-Mumbai-Pune Deccan Queen Express: Cancelled on 1st June and Kurla-Margaon-Kurla: Cancelled on 1st and 2nd June.
