The trailer for Special Ops Season 2 is out. The show is created by Neeraj Pandey and will soon start streaming on JioHotstar. Actor Kay Kay Menon returns as Himmat Singh, a senior officer in the Indian intelligence agency R&AW.

In the past, the show focused on terrorist threats to India. But in this new season, the focus is on cybercrime. The trailer shows that Himmat and his team are going after a cyber terrorist named Collector, played by Tahir Raj Bhasin. His aim is to hack India’s UPI system, which is used by millions of people for digital payments.

This season talks about how cyber threats are becoming a big danger. It shows how scientists are getting kidnapped and data is being stolen. It also shows how these crimes can affect the entire country without a single bullet being fired.

Kay Kay Menon shared that playing Himmat Singh again was a powerful experience. He said the new season shows a different side of the character, including how he handles pressure and responsibility. He called this season “personal” because it explores the life of a man who always stays strong for others, even when the danger is not seen.

Here’s what he said, “Himmat Singh has always fought with grit, intellect, and instinct. But this time, the war isn’t visible. The stakes are bigger, the threats more unpredictable and that made this season both relevant and deeply personal to portray. There’s a quiet burden Himmat carries of duty, of sacrifice, of knowing more than he can say. This chapter allowed me to explore not just the strategist, but the man behind the mission, the father, the patriot, the constant protector.”

Neeraj Pandey said that the new season is based on the kind of threats people now face in real life. He said modern-day wars are not just about guns but about information and data.

The series will be available to watch from July 11 and is expected to bring a new kind of spy story to the audience, focused more on technology, data, and hidden danger.
