Dhun: Arijit Singh, Mithoon & Mohit Suri Reunite for Soulful New Song from Saiyaara

Bollywood newcomer Ahaan Pandey is gearing up for his big-screen debut in Saiyaara, set to release on July 18. As excitement builds, the makers have unveiled another track from the film’s soundtrack—a heartfelt number titled Dhun.
Dhun brings together the celebrated musical trio of Arijit Singh, composer Mithoon, and director Mohit Suri, who have previously delivered some of Hindi cinema’s most memorable romantic hits. The song is already creating a buzz online, with fans praising Arijit Singh’s emotive vocals, Mithoon’s stirring composition, and Suri’s signature visual storytelling.
The music video features Ahaan Pandey passionately performing in the rain, his performance intercut with tender moments shared with co-star Aneet Padda. The visuals hint at the depth of their onscreen romance, adding to the song’s emotional pull.
The collaboration between Mohit Suri and Mithoon dates back to 2005 with films like Zeher and Kalyug, and has since given Bollywood timeless albums such as Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Half Girlfriend, and Malang. Their partnership continues to define the sound of modern Hindi love songs.
Arijit Singh and Mohit Suri also share a successful history, having worked together on beloved tracks like Tum Hi Ho, Humdard, and Chal Ghar Chalen. With Dhun, they revisit that soulful romantic space once again.
Produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara stars fresh faces Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda. The film’s soundtrack has already gained popularity with songs by Jubin Nautiyal, Vishal Mishra, and Sachet-Parampara, and Dhun adds yet another gem to the album.
