Disturbing Case In Pune: Man Arrested For Sexually Abusing Pet Dog While Owner Was Away
Pune has witnessed another deeply disturbing and anger-inducing incident. In the Hadapsar area, a man allegedly committed a heinous act of unnatural abuse on a pet dog while its owner was out of town. The shocking act came to light when the owner reviewed CCTV footage upon returning.
According to police reports, the accused has been identified as Halimuddin Sheikh (20), originally from Murshidabad, West Bengal. He currently resides in Sundar Society, Handewadi, Hadapsar, Pune. The owner had gone to their native place when the incident occurred on the night of March 26 at around 11:30 PM.
The FIR states that the accused entered the owner’s parking area without permission and committed an unnatural act on the owner’s five-year-old pet dog named Penny. Upon being taken into custody and interrogated, the accused confessed to the crime. Following this, a formal complaint was registered at the Kalepadal Police Station.
Local Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) representative Rajesh Palskar and other citizens were informed about the incident, after which a police complaint was lodged. The police have confirmed the accused is in custody, and all necessary documentation has been verified, confirming he is a resident of West Bengal. The investigation is ongoing.
