Disturbing Video: Bengaluru workers arrested for hiring goons to assault colleague over work pressure
Two employees of a Bengaluru-based dairy company have been apprehended for orchestrating an attack on their colleague, allegedly due to grievances over work pressure.Â
The incident, which shocked many after footage of the assault went viral on social media, led to the swift action of the Bengaluru Police.

The assault victim, identified as Suresh, an auditor at Heritage Foods, was subjected to a brutal attack by a group of assailants wielding an iron rod. The disturbing video, captured on a car’s dashboard camera, captured the harrowing ordeal, prompting widespread outrage online.
Upon receiving multiple tags and alerts from social media users, the Bengaluru City Police took immediate action, launching an investigation into the assault. It was revealed that the perpetrators, Umashankar and Vinesh, who were colleagues of the victim, had hired goons to attack Suresh due to alleged pressures to expedite work processes.
Suresh, who had been enforcing stringent deadlines for daily transactions, had reportedly faced resistance from Umashankar and Vinesh, leading to simmering tensions. Unable to reconcile their differences, the duo resorted to extreme measures, resulting in the vicious assault on Suresh.
The timely intervention of the Hennur Police Station led to the apprehension of the five suspects involved in the attack. Umashankar Reddy was identified as the primary instigator, with Anush Kyalwin, Vineesh, Muttu, and Sandeep also being arrested in connection with the incident.
The assault, which occurred near Kalyan Nagar on the Outer Ring Road, underscores the alarming consequences of workplace disputes and the need for effective conflict resolution mechanisms.
