Pune, August 4, 2025: The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Maharashtra, has announced the commencement of the final round of Class 11 (FYJC) admissions, open to all eligible students. This special round will run from August 4 at 8:00 am to August 5 at 6:30 pm.

This round is open to students who were unable to secure a seat in the first four admission rounds, as well as those who have not yet completed or submitted Part 1 or Part 2 of their application forms. Additionally, students who recently passed supplementary board exams conducted in July 2025 are also eligible to apply.

Applicants will have the option to register, complete pending application details, or revise their college preferences during this window. The goal is to ensure every eligible student gets a fair chance at securing admission to a junior college.

The allotment list for this round will be released on August 6 at 10:00 am, based on merit and available seat preferences.

According to Mahesh Palekar, Director of Education, this is the last opportunity for students and parents to secure admissions for the academic year. As of August 2, out of the 21.5 lakh seats offered across 9,522 junior colleges in the state, 12.68 lakh seats remain unfilled, while 8.82 lakh students have been admitted.
