A fire occurred at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Friday, as confirmed by an official from the Delhi Fire Services.

Three fire tenders were immediately deployed to address the situation, according to the DFS official. “We received a call from IGI Airport at 6:15 pm regarding a fire. We have pressed three fire tenders,” stated the official.

Air India flight AI-807 from Delhi with 175 passengers onboard returned due to a suspected fire in the aircraft’s air conditioning unit today. The flight landed safely at 6:38 PM: Delhi airport official.
