A massive fire broke out in the early hours of Tuesday at a two-story store in Narayangaon’s Mutha Market, causing extensive damage to the shop and its neighboring establishments. The fire, which erupted around 5 a.m., spread rapidly, prompting an immediate response from firefighters.

Fire trucks from Junnar and Rajgurunagar rushed to the scene, preventing further escalation of the disaster. To control the flames, firefighters had to break through the walls of a cloth store, while a ladder was used to reach and extinguish the fire on the first floor.

The blaze raged for nearly five hours before being fully contained by around 1 p.m. Several shops in the vicinity suffered damage, but thanks to the swift action of the fire brigade, a larger catastrophe was averted.
