The most-asked question worldwide was “What to watch?”, searched by over 6.2 million people. This was followed by “Where can I get my money back?” with 3.4 million searches, and “What does this mean?” with 2.9 million searches.
Money-related queries also stood out. Around 1.8 million people asked “When will I get my money?” Meanwhile, 1.5 million users searched for “Where is my train?”
Seasonal and time-related queries were also popular. “How many days until Christmas?” drew 1.5 million searches, while 1.4 million people each searched for “What time is it?” and “Who won the 2024 election?”
The data highlights how Google has become the go-to source for quick answers, replacing libraries and reference books of the past. With AI tools making search smarter, people now rely on Google to clear doubts instantly — whether they are practical, curious, or even unusual.
