Customer warns others of potential issues with Ola Electric after facing trouble with her scooter.

In a striking move, a frustrated Bengaluru resident has used a placard on her Ola e-scooter to dissuade others from purchasing the vehicle. Nisha Gowru, who shared a photo of her scooter on X, expressed her dissatisfaction by writing, “If you buy Ola, your life is going to be hard. I will be spreading awareness against Ola Electric.”

The placard attached to Gowru’s scooter reads: “Dear Kannadigas, Ola is a useless two-wheeler. If you buy one, it only makes your life hard. Please do not buy an Ola Electric scooter.” Gowru, who describes herself as a frustrated Ola user, did not detail the specific issues she encountered with the scooter, but her post has gained significant attention online.

This protest follows other recent incidents involving Ola Electric. In Gulbarga, Karnataka, a customer set fire to an Ola Electric service station after experiencing ongoing problems with his scooter. Mohammad Nadeem, who had purchased the scooter last month, was dissatisfied with the lack of response from Ola Electric staff. On Tuesday, Nadeem reportedly bought petrol and set the showroom in Kalaburagi ablaze, resulting in damage to six scooters and an estimated loss of ₹8.5 lakh.
