Gardens in Pune to open from November 1

Pune Municipal Corporation Mayor Murlidhar Mohol on October 26 informed that from November 1, 2020 public gardens in Pune might be reopened.

PMC run gardens are closed for the past seven months. The gardens were kept closed to curb spread of Covid19. Also the second wave of Covid19 is expected within next two months. It is expected that citizens should follow all social distancing norms and wear mask.
The advisory team from the Center had visited Pune city in the last few days and have recommended that the second wave is expected to be back by December – January.
Gardens in Pune will be allowed after certain do’s and don’ts are decided. This decision would be taken in the next few days and SOP would be announced soon.
