At her husband’s retirement celebration in Kota, the wife unexpectedly experienced a heart attack, which resulted in her death. The husband had opted for Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) to take care of his ailing wife, but sadly, she died during his farewell event. A video capturing this tragic moment is circulating widely on social media.
Devendra’s wife, Deepika Sandal, was present at the office in Dakuniya. The video clearly shows that a retirement celebration for a government employee is happening. The retiring employee, along with his wife and many others, is in attendance.
In the video, Deepika and Devendra are shown adorned with garlands and smiling, while others gather around the table, applauding and celebrating them.
While this was happening, Deepika began to feel uncomfortable. Suddenly, Deepika appeared visibly uncomfortable and sat down in a chair. She began taking deep breaths while her husband rubbed her back, and even then, she managed to smile.
In the background, some people were heard saying, “Bring water, she might be feeling dizzy.”
She then slumped down with her head resting on the table. Her husband quickly reached out to check on her, and other colleagues nearby also gathered around to assist Devendra, shouting for water, “paani le aao, paani le aao.”
They swiftly took Deepika to the hospital, where the doctors, after a thorough examination, pronounced her as brought dead. According to sources close to the couple, Deepika had been dealing with some heart-related problems for the past few years, as reported by PTI.
Devendra, a resident of Dadabari’s Shastri Nagar in Kota, had taken voluntary retirement three years before his actual retirement date to stay with and care for his wife, as they added.
After his voluntary retirement request was approved, his last day in the office was on Tuesday, which is when the tragic incident occurred.
