Her Weight Loss Plan Was Written by ChatGPT – And It Actually Worked
A woman named Anjani Bhoj lost 5 kg in 40 days by using ChatGPT to get a custom fitness and diet plan. She shared her experience on Instagram on June 16. In her post that has now gone viral, Anjani said, “I lost 5 KGS in 40 days… and no, it wasn’t magic. It was me, ChatGPT, and a whole lotta ‘I don’t feel like it, but I’ll still do it, for myself and for my body.'” She explained how she used ChatGPT as a diet coach and followed the plan with full dedication.
She also shared the exact prompt she used so others can copy it and change it based on their own needs. Her prompt was:
“Hi ChatGPT, I’m [Your Name], [Your Age], [Height] and [Weight]. I have PCOS (controlled), if you don’t, skip this step. I want to lose fat and build lean muscle. I work out 5 days a week. Please give me a weekly workout and diet plan. I eat chicken, eggs, basil seeds, salads, and whey. I avoid dairy and gluten [based on your eating preferences].”
Anjani has PCOS, a common health condition among women that can make it harder to lose weight. She wrote, “I have PCOS!! That means bloating, cravings, low energy, and stubborn fat that just doesn’t wanna leave!! But this time, ChatGPT had a plan, a real one.”
She said the plan from ChatGPT included both workouts and meals. It did not involve extreme exercise or skipping meals. She followed it daily with patience and consistency. “ChatGPT created my custom 40-day workout and meal plan. No extreme cardio, no starving. Just consistency, patience, and showing up, even when I had zero motivation, I kept going,” she shared.
Many people commented on her post, saying that using AI tools like ChatGPT can be very helpful for women with hormonal issues like PCOS. Some users also said they were inspired by her story and wanted to try it for themselves.
Anjani ended her post with a note for everyone thinking about doing the same: “Now just ask ChatGPT and start. But also do your research before starting out. In the end, it’s your body, and you should know about it.”
