Horrifying: Skydiver forgets his parachute; Records his own death after jumping out of plane
People love to take pictures and videos of themselves. But no one imagines that the video they are shooting will be their last. There was a similar incident where a man jumped out of a plane but forgot to take a parachute and caught his own death on camera.
As per further information from the X handle of Morbid Knowledge “Skydiver Ivan McGuire was filming a parachuting lesson at 10,000 ft in the air. Excited to film, he grabbed his camera and jumped from the plane. Unfortunately though, he forgot his parachute. McGuire had made more than 800 successful jumps to his name before this fatal accident.”
The incident happened with a man named Evan McGuire, who was a skydiver. 35-year-old Ivan jumped from a plane in April 1988 from a height of 10,000 feet. He was very enthusiastic about this adventure and even shot himself. But shortly after jumping, he realized that he didn’t have a parachute and recorded his own death.
His body was found in a forest about 2.4 km from the airfield from where he had taken off. Ivan picked up the camera instead of a parachute as both had almost the same weight. So maybe Ivan didn’t notice. No one has been able to forget this incident till date.
