Increase Covid19 testing in Pune district; informs Pune Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh
Pune district Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh in the recently held meeting informed the officials from District administration, Pune Municipal Corporation, Sassoon hospital that contact tracing of Covid19 positive patients and control measures to curb spread of Covid19 should be adopted.He held a joint meeting with the health department officials to step up the control measures taken by the health administration.
Deshmukh also informed that on January 17, 2021 Polio vaccination drive shall be held and citizens should take benefit of the drive and get their chil administered this drops. The meeting was attended by Dr Ashok Nandapurkar, district general physician, district Health officer Dr Bhagwan Pawar, Sassoon hospital Dean Dr Murlidhar Tambe. Deshmukh further said that the even if the cases are not going up, fear of Covid19 is still looming. We must all take enough precautions and stay away from contracting infection.
The three step rule of wearing mask, washing hands frequently and maintaining social distancing should be followed strictly. .
