Indian Railway Launches Jodhpur-Pune Special Train from October 25 to Cater to Festive Season Rush

In anticipation of increased passenger demand during the upcoming festive season, Western Railway has introduced a special train service between Jodhpur and Pune. This initiative aims to provide additional capacity and ease travel for the festive rush.
Starting from October 25, the Jodhpur-Pune Special (Train No. 04807) will operate every Friday. The train will depart from Jodhpur at 16:30 IST and will reach Pune by 23:10 IST on Saturday, making a key stop at Ratlam Junction. The service will be available until November 15.
In the return direction, the Pune-Jodhpur Special (Train No. 04808) will depart from Pune every Sunday at 00:30 IST and will arrive in Jodhpur at 04:50 IST on Monday, also stopping at Ratlam Junction.
This special train will have several halts, including Degana, Kuchaman City, Nava City, Phulera, Jaipur, Durgapura, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Bhawani Mandi, Ratlam, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Lonavala, and Chinchwad.
The train will feature a mix of coaches, including one second AC, four third AC, ten sleeper class, and four general second-class coaches. This service is part of the Indian Railways’ broader efforts to manage the increased travel demand during the festive season.
