In a move to facilitate festive travel, the Indian Railways has launched the country’s longest Vande Bharat Express route from New Delhi to Patna, covering approximately 994 kilometers. This special Diwali and Chhath Puja service promises swift, comfortable travel, connecting the capital with Bihar’s heartland

• Distance & Duration: The new Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Express spans 994 kilometers, completing the journey in just 11 hours and 35 minutes.
• Stops: The train will halt at important stations including Arrah, Buxar, DDU, Prayagraj, and Kanpur, enhancing connectivity along the route.
• Seating & Pricing: Exclusively featuring chair car seating, passengers can opt for an AC chair car ticket priced at Rs 2,575, or an executive chair car at Rs 4,655.
This Vande Bharat Express, running on a trial basis, is expected to ease holiday travel congestion, providing an efficient alternative for those traveling to celebrate Diwali and Chhath Puja with loved ones.
The upcoming trains from Delhi to Pune are scheduled for November 1, 3, and 6, making it ideal for festive-season commuters.
