Lucknow, March 29: An IndiGo flight from Patna to Delhi was diverted to Lucknow on Friday after a passenger suffered a medical emergency and was later declared dead.

The incident occurred on flight 6E-2433, which took off from Patna and was en route to Delhi. When a passenger became critically unwell mid-flight, the crew immediately sought medical assistance and decided to make an emergency landing at Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport.

Upon arrival, a medical team examined the passenger but declared him dead. IndiGo Airlines issued a statement expressing condolences to the deceased’s family. After completing necessary formalities, the flight resumed its journey to Delhi.
