Mumbai | July 15, 2025: As heavy rains continue to lash Mumbai, leading airline IndiGo has issued a travel advisory for passengers flying to and from the city. The downpour has caused temporary disruptions to flight schedules, prompting the airline to urge travelers to plan their journeys carefully and check their flight status before leaving for the airport.

“Due to the ongoing heavy rainfall in Mumbai, flight operations are experiencing delays. Passengers are advised to allow additional time for their travel to the airport as road traffic is moving slower than usual,” the airline stated in an official advisory.

IndiGo added that it is closely monitoring the situation and working to minimize inconvenience to passengers. The airline assured that flights will be cleared for departure as soon as weather conditions improve and operations are deemed safe.

“Our teams are on standby to assist passengers, and your comfort and safety remain our top priorities. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time,” IndiGo said.

Mumbai has been witnessing intense rainfall since Monday evening, resulting in waterlogging and slow traffic in several areas, which is also affecting the commute to the airport.
