Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, security in the national capital has been significantly intensified. As a precautionary measure, India Gate has been completely evacuated and the public is not being allowed to stay or gather around the iconic war memorial.

Police officials, using loudspeakers, are instructing visitors to vacate the premises. Although public movement at India Gate is usually restricted post 11 PM, authorities enforced a complete clearance earlier today due to the sensitive security environment.

In view of the ongoing conflict, Delhi Police have stepped up surveillance across the city. Paramilitary forces and additional police personnel have been deployed at key locations, including government buildings, markets, metro stations, malls, hotels, residential colonies, and airports.
