Influencer Pranks SpiceJet Employees with Fake Story About Missing Childbirth
Digital content creator Anuj posted a video of himself at the airport following a delay of more than three hours for his flight.
An Instagram user playfully deceived fellow travelers and airline personnel during a three-hour flight delay by feigning distress over the possibility of missing the birth of his child.
An Instagram user took advantage of the situation wherein he was made to wait for his flight to play pranks on fellow passengers and airline staff following a delay of his SpiceJet flight to Mumbai.
“Now I get to do something which I have always wanted to do, which is to be a part of an angry mob, shouting at helpless airline staff,” he says in the video.
He shifts the camera to capture a bustling crowd assembling at the airport terminal, with the plane still absent from view. He clearly mentioned his intention to engage with various individuals and voice his concerns about the flight.
After expressing his frustration over the airline to fellow passengers, he turns to the staff, “Is there any update on the flight? It is very important for me to be on this flight. I will miss the birth of my child. My wife is in the hospital. I have to go to Bombay. “I scheduled my flight in such a way that I won’t miss it. It looks like my wife will have to deliver alone,” he says.
With a playful smile directed at the camera, he shared that other passengers expressed their worries regarding his predicament and were advocating on his behalf with the airline personnel.
The creator’s excitement and pride were a far cry from how his prank was received online, where a commenter said he went too far just for some content.
Several others called Anuj out for telling a fake story to make airline personnel feel guilty about a situation where they had little say.
Anuj expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation in the video caption, tagging SpiceJet and encouraging his followers to mention the airline in their comments, deeming the entire scenario unacceptable.
