Sharing her insights on LinkedIn, Singh highlighted eight key takeaways from her experience, shedding light on the factors that agents consider before accepting or rejecting orders, the earnings per delivery, and more.

During her stint as a delivery agent, Singh observed the meticulous process involved in order fulfillment, from accepting and picking up orders to delivering them to customers. 

Each step, meticulously tracked through the Swiggy app, ensures transparency and accuracy in the delivery process. Singh noted the significance of entering a delivery code to confirm the correct order pickup and the requirement to post a picture in the Swiggy uniform upon reaching the delivery location, enhancing customer trust and security.

One noteworthy aspect highlighted by Singh is the app’s dashboard, providing agents with a comprehensive overview of their earnings, total deliveries completed, and orders fulfilled in a day. 

Singh shared that when she got an order, “she could see the exact distance she will cover from her current location to the restaurant and from the restaurant to the delivery location along with a map representation”, along with the amount she will earn.

Additionally, the presence of an SOS button in the app underscores Swiggy’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its delivery partners in case of emergencies.

Impressed by the thoroughness of the product and operational processes at each step, Singh expressed gratitude towards delivery agents who tirelessly navigate through various challenges, including heat, rain, pollution, and traffic, to simplify customers’ lives. 

Her brief stint as a Swiggy delivery agent fostered a deeper appreciation for the dedication and hard work invested by delivery partners in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of orders.
