Pune To Host Placement Drive On August 13; Job Seekers Urged To Participate
Pune, July 9, 2025: The Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Job Fair, jointly organized by the Department of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Pune Police Commissionerate, and Haribhai V. Desai Arts, Science and Commerce College, will now be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The venue remains Haribhai V. Desai College, 596, Behind Shaniwarwada, Budhwar Peth, Pune.
Earlier scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, 2025, the job fair has been preponed due to unavoidable administrative reasons. This change was announced through a press release by Sagar Mohite, Acting Assistant Commissioner, District Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center.
Over 2,000 vacancies have been notified by various employers from the district’s industrial areas. These opportunities are open to candidates with qualifications ranging from 10th, 12th, graduates, ITI holders, diploma holders, and trainees across diverse fields. The fair aims to provide maximum job opportunities to employment seekers in the district.
