Kazan Drone Attack: Fire Erupts as 8 Drones Strike High-Rise Buildings in Russian City | Watch Video
A series of eight drone strikes hit high-rise buildings in Kazan, Russia, sparking a massive fire and prompting an immediate evacuation of residents. The attacks, which occurred in quick succession, caused significant damage to several multi-story structures.
Russian authorities have accused Ukraine of orchestrating the assault. Emergency response teams were swiftly deployed, and efforts to ensure the safety of residents are ongoing.

Airport Operations Disrupted
The attack also affected regional air travel. Rosaviatsia, Russia’s aviation authority, announced a temporary suspension of operations at Kazan airport. Restrictions were also imposed at Izhevsk airport. Kazan, located roughly 800 kilometers east of Moscow, witnessed additional measures from air defenses, with one drone reportedly intercepted, according to Russian news agency Sputnik.
