Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2025: Offline Applications Open for Classes 2 to 12 (Excluding Class 11)

KVS Admission 2025-26 Update: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has officially opened offline admissions for the academic year 2025-26 across Balvatika-2 and Classes 2 to 12 (excluding Class 11). While the registration for Class 1, Balvatika-1, and Balvatika-3 concluded in March, the next phase of the admission process is now in full swing.

KVS Admission 2025: Key Dates

• Offline Application Window: April 2 to April 11, 2025
• First Provisional Admission List: April 17, 2025
• Admission Based on First List: April 18 to April 21, 2025
• Last Date for Admissions (All Classes Except Class 11): June 30, 2025
• Final Deadline (If Vacancies Remain): July 31, 2025

Note: Admission to Class 11 will begin only after Class 10 board results are declared.

KVS Admission 2025: Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following documents at the time of admission:

• Birth Certificate (photocopy)
• Marksheet/Report Card of Previous Class (photocopy)
• Transfer Certificate (if applicable)
• Updated Parent/Guardian Service Certificate (if applicable)
• Job Transfer Certificate (if applicable)
• Residence Proof
• Aadhaar Card (photocopy)
• APAAR ID
• Income Certificate (if applicable)
• EWS Certificate (if applicable)
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)

Admission Process

Parents and guardians must submit the offline admission form at the respective Kendriya Vidyalayas between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm during the designated window.

Age Criteria for Balvatika Classes

As per KVS guidelines (age as on March 31, 2025):

• Balvatika-1: 3 to 4 years
• Balvatika-2: 4 to 5 years
• Balvatika-3: 5 to 6 years

For Class 2 and above, the minimum age begins at 6 years, increasing progressively by class.

KVS has instructed all schools to:

• Display admission-related lists (eligible candidates, provisional selections, waiting lists) on school notice boards
• Publish the same information on their official websites and social media (including Facebook and X)
