The Patna-based educator turns healthcare reformer, pledging world-class treatment at prices lower than government rates

Patna’s popular educator and YouTuber Faizal Khan, better known as Khan Sir, is stepping into healthcare with a vision as bold as his teaching style. He is building a massive hospital equipped with advanced machines worth over ₹16 crore, where treatment will cost as little as ₹40–₹50—far less than government facilities.

The hospital will house a blood bank, dialysis centre, cancer care unit, and diagnostic hub. Sharing progress through videos, Khan Sir showcased a row of dialysis machines imported from Germany and Japan. Unlike the usual practice, he insists no one will be called a “patient” or “case” in his hospital. Instead, everyone will be treated as a “guest.”

“A sick person is already suffering, and calling them a patient lowers their confidence further,” he explained. “That’s why, in my centre, everyone will be addressed as a guest.”

Currently, kidney patients in Bihar pay nearly ₹4,000 per dialysis session—about ₹50,000 per month. Khan Sir promises to slash this burden, making dialysis available for just ₹40–₹50. His phased rollout plans to open facilities in every Bihar district, aligning launches with major festivals: a dialysis centre on the last Monday of Sawan 2025, a blood bank on Navratri, a private hospital on Diwali, and a diagnostic centre near Chhath.

This unique festival-linked approach makes healthcare launches memorable and culturally rooted, while ensuring accessibility for rural and economically disadvantaged communities who often travel long distances to Patna for treatment.

Funding the project through his educational ventures, Khan Sir aims for sustainability and social responsibility rather than profit. Land acquisition in Bhojpur district has already been finalised for the new hospital, signalling a long-term vision to build modern healthcare hubs across Bihar.

In an era when healthcare feels like a luxury, Khan Sir’s initiative is a reminder that compassion can be more powerful than money.
