“Kyun Maange maafi,” Salim Khan defends Salman Khan on Blackbuck case
Salim Khan stands up for Salman in the Blackbuck case, questioning the need for an apology demanded by Bishnoi gang by stating, “He wouldn’t even kill a cockroach”.
In a private interview with ABP News, Salim Khan characterized the threats directed at his son Salman Khan as merely an instance of extortion.
“I asked Salman who did it, and he told me he wasn’t even there. He said he wasn’t in the car when it happened, and he never lies to me. The family is stressed, of course, but what can we do? They are asking him (Salman) to apologize. Kyun maange maafi? Has he done anything wrong? Have you investigated it? Every day there are so many hunting incidents over there. In fact, we have never even used a gun. So what is the apology for? Saying sorry means accepting that we have done something wrong,” this is what director Salim Khan had to say about the Blackbuck case involving Salman Khan.
There are threats against Salman Khan from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi related to the blackbuck poaching case. In this scenario, the actor’s father, renowned screenwriter Salim Khan, stated that Salman had never harmed any animal and was not involved in the hunting incident.
Salman Khan faced allegations of hunting Chinkaras in Bawad, located near Jodhpur. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu, and Neelam, who were filming for director Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain,’ were seen hunting two blackbucks. Soon, Members of the Bishnoi community lodged a complaint against Salman Khan and his co-stars from ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ regarding the alleged killing of animals.
“Has he committed any crime? Have you seen him? Have you investigated the matter? We have never even used a gun. An apology is also sought from the person against whom you have committed a crime or caused trouble. The person whom you have cheated, whose money you have stolen. This is extortion,” adds Salim Khan.
Salim Khan firmly rejected any association between Salman and the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, a notion that arose due to Siddique’s close ties with the actor. He clarified that the family perceives no correlation between the two incidents and struggles to comprehend how such a connection could be suggested.
