Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi TV Actor Vikas Sethi Passes Away at 48 Due to Cardiac Arrest
Vikas Sethi, well-known for his roles in popular TV shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga, and Sasural Simar Ka, passed away at the age of 48. According to a report by PTI, the actor died in his sleep on Saturday night in Nashik after suffering a cardiac arrest. His wife, Jhanvi Sethi, revealed that they were in Nashik to attend a family event when he began experiencing vomiting and loose motions. Despite his discomfort, Vikas chose not to visit the hospital, so they called a doctor home.
Jhanvi recounted, “When I went to wake him up at around 6 a.m. on Sunday, I found that he had passed away during the night.” The doctor confirmed that he had died in his sleep due to cardiac arrest.
Vikas’ mortal remains were sent to Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem, and the last rites will take place in Mumbai on Monday.
Vikas Sethi is survived by his wife Jhanvi and their twin sons. His last post on Instagram, made on Mother’s Day, was a tribute to his mother, where he shared a heartwarming message. In addition to his memorable TV roles, Vikas had a brief but notable appearance in the 2001 blockbuster Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, playing Robbie, a friend of Poo (Kareena Kapoor Khan).
