Inspired by her dreams and driven by determination, Aarushi Agarwal turned down high-paying job offers to build a company that has now reached a global clientele. Â
In an era where financial security often guides career choices, Aarushi Agarwal’s story stands out. A native of Moradabad, Aarushi rejected two job offers worth Rs 1 crore each, choosing instead to follow her dream of entrepreneurship. Today, her startup, TalentDecrypt, is a thriving platform that has helped over 10 lakh job seekers and is active across countries like the US, Germany, Singapore and the UAE.
After completing her B-Tech and M-Tech from JP Institute and an internship at IIT Delhi, Aarushi began learning coding in 2018 with a vision to help students struggling with job placements. She launched TalentDecrypt during the pandemic in 2020, investing just Rs 1 lakh. This platform uses secure virtual assessments, making it nearly impossible to cheat, and partners with over 380 companies to connect candidates with jobs.
Since its launch, TalentDecrypt has become a trusted platform for job recruitment, especially among youth skilled in coding. The company hosts hackathons and virtual skill assessments that align talent with employer needs. Aarushi’s innovative security features ensure that candidates cannot use unauthorized devices during assessments, adding a layer of integrity to remote hiring processes.
Today, TalentDecrypt operates out of Noida with a 20-member team. Aarushi, recently honored by NITI Aayog as one of India’s top 75 women entrepreneurs, credits her grandfather, IITan Omprakash Gupta, as her inspiration. “The risk was worth it,” says Aarushi, whose journey from employee to employer serves as a testament to the power of vision, hard work and the courage to choose the road less traveled.
